The coreless brushless motor used in the drive also operates more quietly, and the torque is available immediately without unnecessary delays caused by intermediate components. The drive is maintenance-free, with no parts subject to wear or replacement.
Stability without calibration
The drive is supplied with a complete power supply circuit included in the set.
The NB-1 drive requires no calibration or nominal speed adjustment. The digital section retrieves sub-platter position and speed information via two feedback loops (magnetic and optical), enabling precise speed control.
The power supply is linear, unlike the switched-mode solutions available on the market. This means it generates significantly lower levels of potential interference. Additionally, the digital and motor driver sections are powered from separate transformer taps.
