Carefully Crafted Details
The design of the WSH-605 combines classic elegance with practical functionality. The entire chassis is made of metal, with a fine brushed aluminum finish on the front panel. For convenient operation and precise adjustment, the panel features large and robust source selection and volume/balance/tone control knobs as well as distinctive retro-style toggle switches. The minimalist layout and fine craftsmanship highlight the quality of the materials and the designers’ meticulous attention to detail.

Preamplifier
The preamplifier section comes with precise volume and tone controls, a source selector, a phono stage for MM cartridges, and an ESS Sabre DAC with four digital inputs. To ensure pristine signal quality, all connections between the inputs on the rear panel and the potentiometers on the front panel are balanced to minimize interference.

Digital-to-Analog Converter (DAC)
The ESS Sabre digital-to-analog converter (DAC) offers excellent jitter performance and supports a broad range of signal sources. Thanks to its advanced jitter reduction technology, it provides excellent sound stability and clarity even with high-jitter equipment such as TVs and STBs.
Digital Inputs
Two coaxial inputs and two optical inputs are available for connecting digital sources such as TVs or CD players, making the amplifier a very versatile solution for home audio systems.

Power Amplifier with Innovative Error Correction Technology
The power amplifier section of the WSH-605 is based on advanced error correction technology, rarely found in audio designs. Implementing gain error correction directly in the power stage enables exceptional sound fidelity with minimal harmonic and intermodulation distortion. This solution eliminates the typical compromises associated with traditional feedback circuits. The correction is global in nature, allowing precise compensation of various types of distortion throughout the entire signal path.

Headphone Amplifier
The built-in low-impedance headphone amplifier is designed with high-end headphones in mind and allows direct connection to the WSH-605. With carefully matched parameters, it provides optimal conditions for each pair of headphones, thus fully utilizing their potential and ensuring the highest sound quality.
